Now I’ve been in a lot of bands over the years, from playing guitar in my friend’s garage when I was 16, to playing at festivals when I was 23, and now, as I approached 30, I’d got the itch to join another band, my eleventh so far. I decided long ago that once I reached 27 I’d stop gigging in bands because that was too old to be in an unsigned band. But it’s such a buzz playing on a stage in front of people that I just never really stopped, and my current band is the most popular of all the bands I’ve ever been in.
